In the year where it celebrates anniversary its 60o, 3M of Brazil makes its first acquisition in the Country with the purchase of the division of security of the POMP Hospital Products and Security of the Ltda. Work, company that has headquarters in Cachoeirinha, Region Metropolitan of Porto Alegre (RS) and is supplying of auricular protectors and other products for the individual protection of the worker, as eyeglasses of security and creams for the hands of professional use. The agreement includes the incorporation for 3M of the assets of the POMP, productive technology transfer, patents, processes and marks. The acquisition complements the line of products of personal security of 3M of Brazil, that from now will count on a complete portfólio of products for this segment. 3M assumes the commercialization of the lines of products with mark POMP, that will be kept. The lines of products that are part of this acquisition totalize 60 itens.
